Stepping on each other?/I would like to know better, to inevitably conclude, Oh, what a life? Its only beautiful for some.Meanwhile, he unhappily comments that racism is a self decision of a modern day caveman and that he walks in a cutthroat world, a furious jungle full of lions.Oozing with feeling fused into weeping lines of lament or ripe words of inspiration, Stanley Josephs poetic musings of a despaired heart debuts dramatically into the genre with his unique poetic brand. 9781477164440 1805318 0 1155.66 1213.44 9781477164440 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/temp/cover/9781477164440.jpg Tears of a Despaired Heart \\N EBOOK 2026-01-21 08:34:42 297297 1 1 Stanley Joseph Poetry \\N \\N \\N \\N \\N Tears of a Despaired Heart 9781477164440 \\N Xlibris US Poetry \\N \\N \\N \\N \\N 2009-03-17
196 1 32150 2026-01-05 17:48:14 0 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/publisher/logo/gardner.png Xlibris US /xlibris_us 796419 1 Walter Prucnel \\N ePub 5596 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/temp/cover/9781477164426.jpg 2026-01-21 08:34:44 \\N God looked at the earth with despair. He knew the future of earth was dismal; it was prone to the pollutions created by man. Worse yet, people in many countries were killing others for their different religious beliefs. Gone was the day of the cross and bow when men fought each other face to face. Now many countries were making weapons that could travel great distances to kill millions. This both saddened and angered Him and He knew something had to be done. Should I create another flood? Have everyone turned into salt? No, none of these would work because many souls would be sent to Hell and Satan could not accommodate that many. He could perform miracles to improve these conditions, but that would take away the Earthlings freewill. The only solution was for the Earthlings to improve their own fate with a little help from Him. Summoning his Undergods, He gave them instructions to choose a few Earthlings, approach them through apparitions and give them minor powers, which would aid them in their missions. Thus, The Many Faces of God begins. 9781477164426 1805316 0 1155.66 1213.44 9781477164426 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/temp/cover/9781477164426.jpg Many Faces of God \\N EBOOK 2026-01-21 08:34:43 75591 1 3 Walter Prucnel Modern and contemporary fiction: literary and general \\N \\N \\N \\N \\N Many Faces of God 9781477164426 \\N Xlibris US Modern & contemporary fiction (post c 1945) \\N \\N \\N \\N \\N 2007-08-27
196 1 32150 2026-01-05 17:48:14 0 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/publisher/logo/gardner.png Xlibris US /xlibris_us 796420 1 Steven Joseph Sinopoli \\N ePub 5596 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/temp/cover/9781477164457.jpg 2026-01-21 08:34:44 \\N The Hudson River waterfront gave birth to notorious baby gangsters, The River Gang. He is the little brother of CARMELITA DE ANDALUCIA; Juanito has found honor in being her little brother. But now, it is time for JUANITO, as he tells his story, to find his OWN special place and worth in his loving family and gypsy clan. His journey will be a learning experience for ages seven through ninety-seven. CARMELITA defines what a hearts desire can do to help her little brother understand its value. A new law demands that all the children in Spain must go to school. This includes the gypsy children in his clan. JUANITO watches his big sister and finally learns what his FIRST hearts desire will be. The lessons learned, the folklore shared, new Spanish words introduced, and a mysterious old man led him to it. Hopefully, after this fun, pretend story, the young readers will ponder and stretch to be all that they are to become in their quest for worthiness through a hearts desire. The celebration of La Romeria del Rocio is still a special pilgrimage today to visit La Paloma Blanca (The White Dove) Virgin statue in the springtime. The festivals in the story are also real in Spain with gypsies continuing to join in the merriment of these gatherings. It is a unique experience for todays children to share first hand, the authors warm and colorful memories of the gypsies residence in southern Spain. Charlottes hearts desire is that they will be entertained by the small taste of Spanish and pretend gypsy culture shared in her book. The final book in the trilogy is in the making, ANTONIO DE ANDALUCIA (El Rey del Futuro). 9781477164556 1805327 0 512.91 538.56 9781477164556 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/temp/cover/9781477164556.jpg Juanito De Andalucia \\N EBOOK 2026-01-21 08:34:54 297308 1 2 Charlotte Brokaw Powers Modern and contemporary fiction: literary and general \\N \\N \\N \\N \\N Juanito De Andalucia 9781477164556 \\N Xlibris US Modern & contemporary fiction (post c 1945) \\N \\N \\N \\N \\N 2005-10-18
196 1 32150 2026-01-05 17:48:14 0 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/publisher/logo/gardner.png Xlibris US /xlibris_us 796433 1 Don S. But for me, it is the whole vast world. Look at this jewel... here is the ant, here is the hyena, the jackal, the hoof of a horse, that of a gazelle, the sun, the moon, the stars, the good eye... this triangle, this is woman, and here are the eyebrows of the Malignant One, there, laughter... it is all of our lives in one piece of silver. (Translated from the French by Helene E. Hagan, from original Tuareg words of an artisan cited by J. Gabus, 1971) An extensive study of the symbolism of Tuareg jewelry has not yet been undertaken to date. It is this simple realization that brought the authors together in a decision to collect information on the topic, from past scholarly journals and books, contemporary articles and web sites, but also from Tuareg informants whose expert knowledge was sought. Though this book is small and does not aspire to be all encompassing, it is the first work totally dedicated to the presentation of the elaborate silver jewelry of Tuareg men and women of Northern Niger in the English language, and the only one we know that is solely dedicated to providing information concerning the function, meanings, and symbols of that jewelry. The book introduces the reader to the culture of the Tuaregs, a remarkable group of African nomads of the Sahara Desert, which has fascinated the Europeans who came into contact with them in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In the last decade or so, as the Tuareg societies of Niger and Mali underwent major change, a number of American researchers began to document some of their ways. Research and publications in the English language are, however, lagging far behind those in the French language. Fortunately, the primary author of this book, Helene Hagan, was originally educated in the French language, and as an Amazigh (Berber) herself, is very familiar with North African scholarship in the Amazigh culture. Thus, as a bilingual anthropologist of Berber ancestry, born and raised in Morocco, and an activist for Amazigh cultural, linguistic and human rights, she benefits from a fourfold source of valuable information: French scholarship, American contemporary accounts, the latest Amazigh research emanating out of North Africa, and Northern Niger Tuareg informants she knows. This unique set of circumstances gives the book an extra dimension of depth and insight. The book recounts the myth of origin of the Kel Tamasheq of Niger, and looks at the continuity and development of symbols from archaic inscriptions and rock art of the Sahara to present-day engravings on silver jewelry and the Tifinagh alphabet. The second chapter is entirely devoted to retracing this development and showing the correspondence between Tifinagh characters of the Amazigh alphabet and the elegant, clear lines of geometric designs, which characterize the silver jewelry of the Tuareg people. The two are deeply connected. Modern Tifinagh Calligraphic Art is also featured in this chapter. The next chapter delves into the mystery of the famous Cross of Agadez and the various hypotheses that have been offered as to its meaning. It depicts the artisanal mode of production, and the functions the crosses hold for Tuareg people themselves. Nowadays, the production of crosses for the western world diminishes the role this cross, Tenghelet tan Agadez, had as a clan identifier. It has become, like other less well known pieces of Tuareg jewelry, a simple ornament or necklace devoid of any particular significance, and the markings on those crosses are losing some of their intentions of yore. The book reviews specific masculine jewelry and feminine adornment in the next two chapters, and looks at the role various pieces of silver jewelry play in the relations 9781477165607 1805346 0 512.91 538.56 9781477165607 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/temp/cover/9781477165607.jpg Tuareg Jewelry \\N EBOOK 2026-01-21 08:35:08 297321; 297320 1; 1 4; 1 Helene E. Theyre the dorymen of Newport Beach, California who belong to the last family-owned dory fleet in the United States.Read about the courage and determination of these farmers of the sea who risk their lives to support their families. Since the 1890s, when a small group of their Portuguese ancestors first launched their wooden Gloucester dories into the early morning darkness of cold pounding waves and powerful ocean currents, these dorymen have returned at dawns edge to sell their catches.Locals, as well as tourists, who come to buy the freshest fish in town, love their colorful presence on the beach next to the Newport Pier. Favorite choices include crabs, sea bass, cod, sea trout, sablefish, vermilion rockfish and yellowtail. Dorymen continue to keep this tradition from the past alive and display down-to-earth work ethics valued by all, while adding a rich quality of life to the residents of Orange County, an area growing in contrasts and complexity. Some fishing methods have changed, but dorymen continue to adhere to strict United States fishing regulations, which protect fish populations. While the Historical Society of Newport Beach, California declared their location on the beach a historical site in 1989, this unique fleet faces an uncertain future as increasing regulations threaten their existence and create challenges as dangerous as the sea. 9781477165331 1805350 0 512.91 538.56 9781477165331 https://thumbnails.kitaboo.in/temp/cover/9781477165331.jpg Hooked on the Sea \\N EBOOK 2026-01-21 08:35:10 297323 1 1 Nancy B.
