I lived a basicrural life with plenty of farm animals, a huge vegetablegarden, and lots of creeks and woods to explore. At twentyI joined the army. After the army I joined the work force,and worked at various jobs through the ups and downsof the vastly changing economy. I started writing poetryin the mid 80s. It seemed to come natural to me.
