When a woman looks into the mirror, if she likes what she sees then her thoughts register and it is displayed outwardly. If she doesn t like what she sees, she first analyzes if it is something she can quickly fix; such as a small flaw. Anything beyond her immediate control causes her to develop a complex which begins to develop in her subconscious mind and travels to her heart. This is the plan of the enemy leading to the destruction of her self esteem. The enemy seeks to devour our self esteem. His mission is to attack us with low self esteem in order to entangle us and hold us captive. He plays tricks with our minds to try to make us believe his lies. It is imperative that we do not come into agreement with him. Our mind and our thoughts must be subject to the Lord Jesus Christ. We have the power to command every thought that comes in our mind to be subject to Jesus Christ. We have to guard our hearts. God tells us in His word to guard our hearts for out of it springs the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23). In other words it is what is in our hearts that show people who we really are. This is why we must be hidden in Christ; our place of refuge. He will keep us in His care so that who He say s we are, will reflect to those who see us. As long as we walk this earth we will have enemies. King David was a giant killer. He defeated his enemies because the confidence inside of him came from God. The more confident we become, the more the enemy will try to destroy our self esteem. However, we already have power over him and his tactics so there is no need to fear him. In order to be all that God has created us to be we must build our self esteem on His foundation, it is a sure and eternal foundation. Self Esteem established by God is authentic. There used to be a saying, Is it live or is it Memorex? Is the sound of what we hear live, real, is it recorded, or is it someone else s voice? I have never read that cosmologists credit the Compton effect as also giving a red shift to the stars and the two have the same effect and therefore they credit non existence recessionary speed to the change in wavelength to the rainbow of colors from almost all stars. The Compton effect is a DISTANCE indicator and not a RECESSIONARY indicator. Among the things I hope the reader will learn and enjoy is the fact that the moon travels around the world from west to east instead of east to west. The moon contributes a powerful force to the ocean current around the world and through the Indian ocean, which alters ocean levels greatly, and is the reason Holland needs dikes. Dog owners know that dogs learn tricks and perform on command. Cat owners know that cats spend all of their time training their owners. Certainly pets understand human languages. They know when you are unhappy and when you are pleased. Your gruff voice may send them cowering but they know that their careful response to your anger usually will bring forgiveness. The lesser domesticated animals, horses, cows, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and the wild animals as well do respond to humans. They respond to voices and are particularly attentive to body language. Barbara and I own and operate a ranch in Central Texas. Actually, Barbara owns the ranch and I just work here. Truthfully, the ranch owns us. It decides what we will do each day and when we might take a trip or even when we may go to town for more supplies. Invariably, when we leave for a day or two, the bulls will break down a gate and let the herds mix or the horses will get into a wire fence and cut a leg or some cow will get in trouble having a calf. One gets afraid to leave the place. I don't know how the animals know that we are gone but they seem to know. But it's a great life style if you love working with animals. We took over the ranch operations in 1974 and now live in a house on the ranch. We have raised horses, cows, sheep, goats, dogs and cats out here amongst the deer, raccoons, armadillos, opossums, bobcats, coyotes, snakes and mountain lions. Some years we make a little money depending upon the livestock market, the weather and the government. More years than we would like, we end up with little income and chalk it off as another year of great experience and forced intense exercise. Over the years of living and working with animals we have noted that animals are intelligent and far from being dumb. We notice many human traits in animals or perhaps animal traits in humans. They live by a hierarchy. There is a boss cow or boss horse or a boss deer and the others within that herd yield to that hierarchy. There is also a dominance of one animal species over another, including humans. They definitely grieve over the loss of an offspring. Unlike humans, the newly born animals instinctively know to get up, nurse and make their own way.
