How the Cheetah Got Its Spots is a story about two cheetah cub brothers that go off on an adventure. There is some conflict and discipline that creates a small life lesson for the readers to take to heart. The storyline itself is easy to read and comprehend, and the illustrations are very bright and grasping. The brothers (Yin and Yang) are very playful young cubs who are constantly getting into mischief with the other animals in the land. It is up to the boys mother, LuLu, to keep them in control, but even a mother cheetah needs a little help here and there.
