It was turned into a novel by Edgar Jepson and published in 1909. Chronologically, it comes between The Hollow Needle and 813 but isnt usually considered to be part of the Lupin series. The book features Germaine de Gournay-Martin, a snobbish daughter who belongs to a wealthy family, who is finally going to marry the penniless Jacques, Duke of Charmerace. Except Jacques is really our roguish thief, Arsene Lupin.
