Mary Olivier: A Life is a psychological novel by May Sinclair, first published in 1919. It is considered one of Sinclair’s most important works and an early example of modernist psychological fiction. The novel is written in a reflective, introspective style and follows the inner life of Mary Olivier from childhood into adulthood. Rather than focusing on external events, it traces her thoughts, emotions, and spiritual development over time.
