Opening Wounds

It was in between my freshman and sophomore years of high school,that I wrote my fi rst short story 4 knights in armor, now titled Knightsof Kenai. However, Knights of Kenai was cut from the fi nal version ofthis manuscript. Likewise the name of this book, originally it was entitledWriting my Heart Out but due to personal reasons I thought to changethe title. This book has been ten years in the making and through those 10years I have added new pieces and taken some out. With all the changes Ifi nally have come to the point where I feel satisfi ed with this fi nal version. I feel ready to share these wounds with the world. Now when I say woundsI am referring to my emotions, and thoughts that I put forth into writingand in these wounds I show how I have been over these past ten years. Somepolitical and some refl ecting my own life, this is me renewing myself gettingout aggressions through my writings. For me writing about real life or stuffI am afraid to speak out about helps me in expressing myself. Writing inother words is a form of therapy. It is through writing that I allow myselfto fully express how and what I am feeling instead of holding it in. Writingis my escape from this crazy world; I need to do it like I need to breathe. What I write are my wounds and when I share them I open them. So hereare my wounds, they are now open!
