The road to Frontenac

"The Road to Frontenac" is an adventure novel set in 17th-century frontier Canada. The story starts with a prominent event: Captain Menard, a local hero, returns to Quebec after several years of hardships and fighting in the country of the Five Nations. Yet, once returning from a battle, he has to start a new one and begin a new page of his life among the Redskins of New France in 1687.
