Through the Looking Glass

Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There is a famous fantasy novel by Lewis Carroll, and the sequel to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The story follows Alice as she steps through a mirror into a strange alternate world organized like a giant chess game. In this “looking-glass world,” everything is reversed, symbolic, and governed by odd logic and playful nonsense. Alice travels across the chessboard landscape, meeting unusual characters such as the Red Queen, White Queen, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, and the mysterious Humpty Dumpty. Each encounter involves wordplay, riddles, paradoxes, and twisted logic typical of Carroll’s style.
