An Australian drug official, bogged down in bureaucracy, broods overa recent divorce and transfer. So wary of romance, Kyle requests avacation and finds himself arriving at the island paradise of Tahiti. Butnothing has prepared him for the trouble he encounters. First, he is awitness to a murder, then he is entrapped by a native beauty and anoverzealous private investigator on a suspicious drug charge. Kyle isarrested and jailed. He breaks out of prison and enlists the aid of avacationing American woman. But she too, in her attempt to prove hisinnocence, becomes a suspect.They struggle to clear their names, go into and out of hiding to avoidthe local police before nighttime chase through the city streets exposesthe plotters and schemers. It is the last day of their vacation when theyare cleared of charges and find time for romance.
