From the Heart

I was born in Frenchville, Maine. A small suburb of Northern AroostookCounty, Maine. I am of French decent. I was born September Eleven, NineteenThirty-Nine. My Father was a Farmer and my Mother was a Housewife.I have one Sister and three Brothers. We settled in Presque Isle, Maine, whereI graduated in Nineteen Fifty-Eight and married the same year. I have FiveChildren. Wendy, John, Douglas, Lisa and Carrie. I am proud of my childrenand my eight Grand-Children. I have one beautiful Great-Grandson.I retired from The Travelers Insurance, in Nineteen Eighty-Eight. We movedto Florida, 13 years ago. I always liked writing and putting down my thoughtson paper. I wrote a Poem to my Aunt, whom I love dearly. I wrote her a Poem,telling her how much she meant to me, I named the Poem Touched.After reading the Poem and seeing how it had touched her, that gave me thecourage to write more. After that day I continued writing. My Poems are allpersonal, I get great satisfaction out of writing Poems for family and friends. Myfavorite one is Katrina. This Poem was written in tribute to the people thatlost their lives and to the ones that suffered so from that great tragedy.My hobbies are writing Poems, Cross Stitching, and doing Sudoku Puzzles.I enjoy going out to dinner with my husband of Thirty One years.
