Monsieur Lecoq

Monsieur Lecoq is a book written by Émile Gaboriau, first published in 1869, and is the last in the Monsieur Lecoq series of books. It contains two volumes: The Inquiry, and The Honor of the Name. The book takes us back to Lecoqs first case - three men are dead and the killer is in custody. The detective and his companion spend months trying to figure out who he is, but to no avail.
