Pistis Sophia

The book records secret teachings said to have been given by the resurrected Jesus Christ to his disciples over eleven years after his resurrection. Much of the dialogue centers on spiritual mysteries, the structure of the universe, the soul’s journey, and divine wisdom. The main figure, Pistis Sophia Faith-Wisdom , is a heavenly being who falls from the higher realms into darkness after being misled by lower powers. Trapped in chaos, she sings prayers of repentance and asks for redemption. Through suffering, purification, and divine assistance, she eventually rises again toward the Light.
