Places and Spaces

Places and Spaces is a compilation of thirty years of writing poetry. I started journaling as a teenager and many years later, the poems emerged. When I decided to share them many years later, the idea was hatched to see if I could get the poems published. So here it goes! The book is divided into five sections---Spirit, Nature, Aging, Family and Other. This has allowed me to write about people and things I met on my journey through life. I drew inspiration from work, reading, my backyard, our animals, other people and nature. The poems may make you laugh or cry, touch you with love and caring or fear and pain. Most of the poems are rooted in spirituality and are an expression of my faith. I hope you find as much comfort in reading the poems as I had in writing them.
