I had been writing since my first year in High School, it wasnt until I was in the service that I began writing simplepoems and short stories that my fellow soldiers enjoyed. But what they enjoyed the most were the poems that I wrote just from talking with them. This is how this book came to be. People would talk or I would hear a song, see a sight and I would write.
