Simon, the Christmas Tree Flea

My book, Simon The Christmas Tree Flea, was inspired by my belovedgrandniece, Alexis. Over a period of 13 years the story never left my memory.I dont know where the idea of a christmas tree fl ea came from except that itwas probably at christmas time.Alexis loves animals, reptiles and bugs so I suppose that is what made me thinkof a fl ea.My little niece is very family oriented so maybe that is why I had to add afamily twist to it.My little niece is very close to my husband and I and was separated from us fora few months and our reunion was where I got the last sentence from.Upon our reunion she put her little hands around my face and said aunt sue(my middle name) me so love you, I just thought that it was a fi tting ending.
