Some things arent meant to be. They really arent. But some things are. The Surrogate is a powerful tale of finding out who we really are and a breathtaking account of pure, unadulterated love. The narrator, Faraz, paints a heart wrenching portrait of what it means to keep a promise and to stand by someone when the world is falling down around them.
