The Princess and Curdie

The story follows the young miner Curdie, who is gifted with the ability to sense the true nature of people by touching their hands. He is called to the royal city to help protect Princess Irene, the kind and wise young princess, from hidden corruption within the kingdom. As Curdie travels from the mountains to the capital, he discovers that the royal court has been influenced by deceitful and morally corrupt advisers. With guidance from mysterious and supernatural helpers, he learns that true strength comes not from physical power, but from moral integrity, courage, and humility.
