The Protocols and World Revolution, published with a translation and commentary by Sergiei Nilus, is a notorious work of propaganda that has played a harmful role in promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories for over a century. First appearing in Russia around 1903 and later translated into multiple languages, the central text—The Protocols of the Elders of Zion—purports to be the secret minutes of a global Jewish conspiracy. The volume further includes an "analysis" that attempts to link these fabricated “Protocols” with Bolshevism and Jewish participation in global revolutions. Divided into two main parts, the book begins with the alleged "Protocols" themselves, organized into 24 "protocols" or chapters that falsely describe a plan for Jews to take control of the world through manipulation of politics, finance, education, media, and social unrest. The second part attempts to validate the document by comparing it with then-contemporary political developments—particularly the Russian Revolution—using cherry-picked testimonies, stereotypes, and fabricated "evidence" to draw misleading parallels. Despite being thoroughly discredited—most notably in a 1921 exposé by The Times (London), and by numerous historians and courts worldwide—The Protocols continued to be used by fascist, extremist, and white supremacist movements throughout the 20th century and beyond. Its themes have been recycled by Nazi propaganda, anti-Semitic organizations, and fringe groups seeking to scapegoat Jews for global challenges. As a historical object, this book serves not as a credible source, but as a key example of political disinformation, religious intolerance, and racist ideology.
