Wright Place at the Wright Time

The book is a fictional account of a supernatural incident that landsWilbur and Orville Wright in present day Kitty Hawk. Presumed to bereenactors who often entertain the tourists, the brothers are confrontedwith a world that has evolved technologically; in great part due to theiraeronautical designs and calculations. While witnessing the applicationsof their fl ying machines successors, they observe the utilization of theirinvention in the fi elds of defense, business, and leisure.Frustrated with the inability to convince people who they really are, thebrothers struggle with the possibility that they could be hallucinating orexperiencing some type of subconscious dream brought on by the shock ofbeing buried in a sandstorm. Making the best of a troublesome situation,they use what time they have to observe and record the dimensions andcomponents of their yet to be built Flyer; a reproduction of which is ondisplay at the National Park Services Visitors Center. With no warning,they are mysteriously returned to their own time to live out their destinyas history has recorded.
